When White Spot was looking for a partner to elevate their social media strategy, drive long-term growth, and build brand affinity with their audience, we didn’t hesitate to throw our hands in the air shouting: “Pick me!” The longstanding Canadian restaurant needed an ongoing social media presence to support their extensive marketing calendar, which included giveaways, key holidays and celebrations, and social media-based brand awareness; we knew we were the people for the job.

The Solution:

Our strategy had to reflect White Spot’s brand value of making everyone feel welcome, speak directly to their audience to drive engagement, and incorporate their humorous and light-hearted brand personality into posts. With a clear foundation for our efforts, bowerhouse developed a new seasonal strategy for the widely followed restaurant, complete with stunning photography, vibrant animation, and unique design.

Now, we could sit here all day listing off all the awesome social content we created for White Spot, but in the interest of time and dwindling attention spans, we’ll only list a few. Through leveraging cultural trends and in-depth brand knowledge, we delivered social media campaigns like 12 Days of Giveaways for the holidays and Battle of the Burgers to build excitement around new burger line-ups. We also helped expand the White Spot community by developing photography, social assets, and a content creator video to support new brand extensions, like R+D Kitchen. We proudly wear many hats when it comes to our work with White Spot and look forward to adding to our collection!


Our team achieved incredible results in our first year of partnering with White Spot. In 2020, we helped them grow their Instagram audience by 24% and impressions by 85%. Plus, we cranked up their engagement by a whopping 31%!

We also brought the holiday cheer with White Spot’s 12 Days of Giveaways contest. With the help of our talented graphic designers, animators, and social strategists, White Spot received over 27k entries! The campaign was a hit with the restaurant’s online community and garnered 173k impressions and 48k engagements, with a phenomenal  28.1% engagement rate.
